Our members Catherine, George and Ruth went to the Beautiful Scotland  awards ceremony  in September - and were awarded a Silver Gilt certificate for Culter in the Urban Community category. This is the highest award  we''ve received so far and effectively placed us second in the Scottish category which included ten entrants.  Uddingston, the national winners, now go forward to the national Britain in Bloom competition in 2011.
